Texture rollers turn blank miniature bases into battlefields: roll once over putty and every base in the army matches. The Roller Studio lets you design the pattern yourself — sci-fi decking, cobblestones, tech panels — and preview the roller in 3D before it prints.
Small rollers suit 25–32mm infantry bases; bigger rollers cover 60mm+ bases and display plinths in one pass. A matched set in the same pattern keeps a whole army coherent — which is exactly what the studio is for.
Air-dry clay and Milliput are the most forgiving. Greenstuff works rolled slightly firmer; chill it briefly if it's sticking.
A film of water for clay, or the thinnest smear of vaseline for epoxy putties. Clean the roller with an old toothbrush afterwards.
The patterns repeat around the circumference, so long strips tile cleanly — on a normal base you'll never meet the seam.
That's the point of the studio — build the pattern yourself and preview it in 3D. If you need something it can't draw, ask for a custom quote.
Yes — crafters use the same rollers on polymer clay slabs; bake the clay as normal after texturing.
