We print with Bambu Lab filament. Here is what each material looks and feels like, what it is good for, and every colour you can order. That includes the special ones: glow in the dark, silk, colour-shifting, marble, sparkle, metal and wood.
For most things on a desk or shelf, PLA Matte or PLA Basic is the right choice. For heat, sun or outdoors, go PETG or ASA. For anything that should bend, TPU. For something that should look special, see the special filaments.

Finishes that make a print look like more than plastic. All PLA-based unless noted, so they share PLA's heat limit (keep them out of hot cars).
PLA with luminous powder. Bambu: the glow fades over time, and about 2 hours of UV or sunlight recharges it (long, frequent exposure ages PLA faster).
Look: Pale daytime colour; glows in the dark after charging in light.

Any product in our shop can be printed in any colour in the colour library. If a colour is not on our shelf, it adds up to 2 extra days.
Yes. Every Bambu Lab colour in our colour library can be ordered on request. If we do not have that spool on the shelf, it adds up to 2 extra days while we get it in.
Approximate. The swatches use Bambu Lab's published hex values, but every screen shows colour differently and finishes like silk, sparkle or matte change how a colour reads. We are adding real print photos colour by colour.
Probably not. Bambu's data sheets put the heat deflection temperature of PLA Basic at 57 °C, and a car parked in the sun can get hotter than that. For cars, dashboards or anything near heat, choose PETG HF (about 69 °C), ABS (about 87 °C) or ASA (about 100 °C).
ASA. Bambu describes it as having exceptional UV and weather resistance for parts exposed outdoors long term. PETG HF, PETG Basic and PETG Matte are also sold by Bambu as suitable for outdoor use.
PLA Glow contains a luminous powder. It charges in light and glows after dark, and the glow fades over time. Bambu says about 2 hours in sunlight or UV light recharges it.
Dual Color has two silk colours fused side by side in one strand, so the print changes colour as you walk around it. Gradient changes colour along the spool, with each colour lasting about 20 m (65 g) according to Bambu, so small prints may only show one colour.
Bambu Lab's product pages say most of these filaments are not food-grade. The exception is PLA Pure, where Bambu says each of its five ingredients is EU food-contact certified. If your print will touch food, tell us before ordering and we will talk through material and use.
